Paid Social Media Marketing Strategies for Your Online Store

Many platforms are now pay to play. Mainly looking at you, Facebook. But do not let that discourage you. I’m a firm believer that you can go a lonnnnnnng way without paying for advertising. Spending your money on an awesome space or a bomb diggity photographer will give you more bang for your buck! But, it’ll get to a point where organic interaction isn’t enough. Why? Because Facebook & Instagram & Google need to make money too. Can you blame them? They own their userbase and want that dollar dollar bill, y’all.

Compliment your organic efforts with paid support. Don’t expect a little paid support to be your end-all-be-all, but every once in a while doesn’t hurt. I purposely put this as the last step in my boutique bootcamp guide because you need to have all your ducks in a row FIRST in order to reap the most out of paid advertising.

Only use paid advertising to boost what you’ve already got going on. If someone clicks over to your really snazzy looking ad but finds an outdated website and lame content, do you think they’ll stick around? Nah, you just embarrassed yourself in front of a potential customer. If that ┬ásame potential customer clicks your snazzy looking ad and finds SO MUCH AWESOME CONTENT THEY CANT GET ENOUGH OMG WHY HAVE THEY NOT FOUND YOU BEFORE? Do you think they’ll join your girl squad? You betcha! And I’m gonna guess that they’d even give you their name & email address.
